A note

Hi Ria,

The black envelopes were exactly the right instinct. Everything below is about who should get the next one.

Four ideas, all pointed at showroom visits and enquiries rather than broad coverage. Thirty seconds to see whether any of them are useful, with the detail underneath if you want it.

Four ideas for FCI London

Three leaflet distribution campaigns and one addressed mailing. FCI London sells high value products that photograph beautifully, so the sectors should be chosen tightly rather than covered broadly. All four are aimed at showroom visits and enquiries.

Showroom Catchment Drop

“Thirty thousand square feet, twenty minutes away.”

The nearest thing FCI London has to a captive audience is the households that could be at the showroom inside half an hour. Sectors selected on property value rather than volume, so the drop lands on the homes that can actually spend, printed heavy enough that nobody mistakes it for a takeaway menu.

  • Sectors chosen on property value, not headcount
  • Within a twenty minute drive of the North Circular
  • Heavy stock and full bleed photography
  • Repeated to the same sectors rather than spread wide
Distribution · targeted roads

02

Planning Trigger Campaign

“Approved in March. Furnishing by autumn.”

Planning approvals cluster on particular roads, and we can drop those roads without needing a single name. Households finishing an extension, renovation or new build are months away from empty rooms and a budget already committed, which is the best moment anyone in your category gets.

  • Roads with recent approvals identified and dropped
  • Extensions, renovations and new builds selected separately
  • Timed for completion, not for the application
  • Refreshed each quarter as new approvals come through
Addressed mail · your ledger

03

Customer Reactivation

“They bought the sofa. They still have a dining room.”

The one on this list that has to be addressed, because it goes to people you already know by name. A house is furnished in stages over years, so anyone who bought two or three seasons ago is a warm, high value prospect for the next room.

  • Selected from your sales records by room and by date
  • Products and room inspiration based on what they bought
  • Small monthly runs rather than one annual push
  • Handwritten outer for the highest value names
Distribution · deadline led

04

Ex-Display and Limited Pieces

“One of a kind, already in the building.”

Luxury furniture rarely carries a deadline, which makes it easy to put off. Ex-display and one-off showroom pieces genuinely do. A short, urgent drop to the closest sectors whenever the showroom is refreshed turns that scarcity into a visit the same week.

  • A named piece, a photograph and a price
  • Dropped only to the sectors nearest the showroom
  • Run whenever stock changes, not on a calendar
  • A QR code to that piece, not to the homepage
